Fox Suspension DHX RC4 Shock

The Fox DHX RC4 coil is a high performance rear shock at home either on All-mountain, Freeride, Downhill bike. With a Kashima coated main shaft, high and low speed compression, bottom out progressiveness and force adjustment and Boost Value technology.

The Fox patented Boost Valve technology has a lot going in its tight little package, Boost Valve provides a feeling of endless travel and plushness like that of a downhill rig, but with with XC pedaling efficiency. The smaller piggy back camber helps adjust how progressive the shock feels, with the more air put in, the harder it will be to bottom out.

Features:

Bottom Out Force Adjust - The Bottom Out Force Adjust controls the air volume in the boost valve. Adjusting all the way in is its lowest volume setting and will make the shock ramp up (get stiffer) late in the travel. Adjusting out, in its high volume setting the shock will ramp up slower through the entire length of the travel creating a more even feel.

Kashima Coat - Buttery-smooth, Genuine Kashima Coat is available only from FOX Racing Shox. Its distinctive gold color is backed by its high performance attributesproperties that provide an exceptionally smooth feel and extreme durability.

Boost Valve damping - The boost valve can be utilized in the beginning of the stroke to achieve ProPedal pedaling efficiency and at the end of the stroke to provide a bottomless feel and confidence inspiring ending stroke control. Throughout the stroke it helps prevent suspension overshoot and unwanted rider-terrain induced motion. Within the DHX RC4 the Boost Valve provides bottom-out control compression damping, based on IFP (Internal Floating Piston) pressure and compression ratio.
