Nothing went untouched Model year 2016 is one of the biggest overhauls in the history of FOX mountain bike suspension. In model year 2015 Fox reset the bar with re-engineered dynamic surfaces, redesigned pistons and seal configurations to deliver the ultimate in smooth performance.
For model year 2016 they took all those lessons and applied them to new from-the-ground-up forks and shocks. They focused on higher performing, more active damping that allows them to create suspension with highly sensitive off-the-top feel and control.
EVOL Extra Volume - New for 2016 the EVOL air sleeve significantly reduces the force to initiate travel, providing added sensitivity and better small bump compliance. The progressiveness of the spring curve can be adjusted via air volume spacers, allowing riders to fine-tune the feel of the air spring.
