In his first two seasons as a Buccaneer, Brady led Tampa Bay to its best back-to-back regular seasons in team history and ranked second in MVP voting both years. Brady retired following the 2022 season as the NFLs all-time leader in passing completions, attempts, yards, touchdowns, games started, wins, Pro Bowl invites, and Super Bowl victories.
